Halloween

Buzz Lightyear and a Star Wars Clonetrooper! We enjoyed a fun evening at a Halloween Party put on by a local church. Will had to wear his Buzz outfit to be tonight.

Happiness is....

Walking into a room and having Will yell to me, "Mom! Where are you? I was looking for you everywhere!! I love you mom!" This is followed by hugs and kisses. After he sat on my lap for a while he told me, "Mom, I really love you!"

Ahhhh....what a total sweetheart my Will is.

Simple wishes

Yesterday Will was talking about getting big. When he gets big he's going to drink coffee like mama. He's also going to drive my van and I can sit in the seat beside him. I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up and he told me, "A driver. Im going to drive to Wilmington to see my Grandma Mary!"

He spoke to Grandma Mary a few hours later on the phone and said, "Sometime...you can come to my house and we can have a playdate! We'll play the x-box, leapster, batman, starwars, and buzzwoody!"

What a sweet boy! And what I wouldn't give for my mama to be able to come here and have a playdate with her grandsons.

My mom's paralysis has become the norm. Will has no clue about nursing homes or paralysis or any of this. His comment makes me remember what our normal SHOULD be and how much we are all missing out on.

Stinky Pete

We went to see Toy Story 1 & 2 at the theatre on Saturday. Will's only obsession in life has been "BuzzWoody" so I knew he would enjoy it. I asked him which character is his favorite and of course he told me Buzz Lightyear. I asked Ral the same question and he said his favorite is the Prospector.

Odd choice, so of course I asked why. He said, "He's cranky....I'm cranky. He's funny....I'm funny!"

I guess I have to agree to that!

Reptile

Last night I was so cold and could not warm up. I told Raleigh I was scared that I was getting the flu. He asked why and I said becuase being cold is a sign of the flu. He said, "Or you're turning into a reptile, because reptiles are cold blooded."


And yes....he really meant it!

Listening to the Lord

Apparently the Lord has been speaking to Will lately. His response to everything is "but Jesus told me to!"

I asked him yesterday what Jesus said to him and he said, "I love you Will" and then he told me "God said Happy birthday, Mama!"

Ahh...so sweet...

Jesus has also told him that its ok to drink all of my Coke Zero, he should play Lego StarWars, and he should carry around Pepper the guinea pig.
