Busy Busy
We just returned from a trip to Wilmington. It was fun. Raleigh went to the ocean for the first time. He didn't care much for the salty water. The next day I told him he was going to Aunt Kathy's and could go swimming. His response was, "I not a little fishy, mama."
He wanted to spend the night with Grandma Mary.
It made me very sad...and mad. Im so angry that my son will never ever get a chance to stay at Grandma Mary's. She'll never be able to take him places. She'll never be able to leave and go with us somewhere. Ral usually asks her now, "You going with us?"
When he told me he was going to spend all night there he got very passionate and said, "We got heart! We got a deal!"
I have no clue where the "we got heart" part came from. If you ask him where he gets stuff from these days, its always Sunday School.
I just find it hard to believe that he learned how to point his toy gun at me and say, "You a fool, mama" at Sunday School.
Will is a delight. He is smiling more and more. He is rolling over from back to belly bunches now. He is also starting to laugh and "talk" more.
His limit in the van on trips is about 5 hours. He has the ability to make everyone miserable for the last hour.
He had a double ear infection recently. I hope he doesn't get another one for a while. Will remains a good sleeper most nights, thank goodness!!!
We are going to Morgantown,WV tomorrow. Daddy was involved in a lawsuit against the railroad when he died. Since I am closest, at 7 hours away, I will be the respresentative of the estate.
I'm nervous..and emotional.
I really miss my daddy. I think my daddy would have really loved to see how much Raleigh loves his trains. I'm sad that Daddy and I will never be able to take Raleigh out to the railroad again where he worked. I'm still sad that we'll never have any pictures of Will and Daddy.
I'm hoping that the trip goes well. Ral will stay with ME and Pa. Will couldn't be away from mama that long, so he will go with us. After Morgantown we will go to Twinsburg to see Mike's friends. We will return home on Thursday.
After that, school will be almost ready to start back. I promise pictures soon though!
