Raleigh's ear

I took Ral to Harris Teeter tonight. He is becoming quite the shopper lately. He LOVES to put stuff into his cart and into my cart when his is full. He finds all sorts of stuff at the store that he wants to try. Many things I don't know about until I get home and find them in the bags. He tries to justify everything by saying, "But we don't have that, mom!"

Yeah Ral...there are a lot of things that we don't have that we don't buy!

Anyways...back to the ear.

He stops at the end of the aisle, calls over to me and says, "Mom, I want you to look at this."
He was stading in front of the Peppridge Farm display looking at it, so I just went ahead and told him I wasn't buying crackers.

He says, "No mom. Feel my ear right here. Is my ear rusting?"

Luckily there was another mom right there on the aisle. We gave each other that "knowing mom look", smiled, giggled, etc.
I asked him again and once again he asked if his ear was rusting.

No Raleigh, your ear does not rust, my dear. It may crack and peel...but you won't rust!

Will cracks me up!

He really is a funny child. The last few nights he has followed me around during dinnertime saying, "Cookin mom?....cookin mom? Cookin Wupper? Hot? Burn? Cookin wupper?" To which I say "Yes. Im cooking Will. Yes, its hot, Yes, it will burn you. Yes Im cooking supper Will."
Finally last night I get supper on the table. No less than 5 times he looks at me and says, "Cook wupper, mom?"
Umm...yes Will, I cooked supper and now you're eating it.

His Pa is plowing a garden. A very big garden. Ral is helping with it and Will watches them on the tractor from the window. Anytime Will talks about the garden he always says, "Pa stuck!" I guess he saw the tractor not moving and assumed he was stuck. If you ask him if Pa has a garden, the answer is still, "Pa stuck!"

My boys love the Power Rangers. They love to kick, punch, hit, etc. and make the appropriate noises that go along with it.
If you ask Will which Ranger he is he will tell you, "I pink!" Although his pink sounds like "pank".
This is much to Mike's dismay of course! Mike will tell him, "Pink, yuck. Be the red ranger."
So Will runs back in and tells me "Pank yuck. Red Ranger."
I then ask him if he is the Red Ranger.
His response.....
"I pank!"
