Anniversary

On the way to school, Ral asked me what an anniversary is. I tried to explain that its a date that something important happened. I give them him an example of mine and daddy's wedding anniversary is June 15, 2002. Every June 15th we celebrate being married to each other. I told him that this year, mama and daddy would celebrate 6 years of marriage.

He then says, "Mom, I just can't believe it!!"

I know dear...its a long time, isn't it?

He then says, "Mom, why did you do that?"

Where that response came from or what it means, I have no clue

My kids crack me up!

Last night while Ral was in the bathtub, he started scratching his ears and told me they hurt. I asked him how long they had been hurting and he told me, "About 80 years!"
Guess I need to take him to the Peds today if he's had the problem that long!

Will LOVES bubbles. Loves to watch them. Loves to have you blow them. Loves to rip the bubble wand out of your hand and yell, "Catch em, catch em" as he tries to capture them himself.
He then goes down to the ground and talks to the bubbles. "Hey 'lil fella! Hey there 'lil fella! Hey fella!" In a super sweet voice.

Later, when he was in my lap, he sticks his foot up to my face and says, "Kiss foot...kiss foot, mama." I kept telling him no, no, I don't want to kiss your foot, etc. etc. He keeps telling me to "kiss foot". After a few times, he changes his tune and gets a sweet high pitched voice while he shoves his foot in my face..."Kiss fooooooooot, kiss fooooooot!"

Yes, I kissed his foot. You wouldn't be able to resist his cuteness either! :-)

Noah

Yesterday we had a lot of flooding where we live. On the way up to his ME's house, I told Ral to look at the river and commented that we would probably have some flooding.

His response....
"Who will clean it up?"

I told him the street department would. He then asks, "And then will Noah come back?"

LOL
No, son.

We then discussed the story of Noah and the promise of the rainbow.

Random funnies from my boys......

- The other day Raleigh and I were reviewing our phone number, address, etc. etc. When I asked him what city he lived in, he told me "Mountain City" and when I asked what state, he replied..."Mountain City dot com"
Yep.....my child thinks so many things are "dot com". A few months ago at a friend's birthday party, they ordered pizza. When I asked him where the pizza come from, he told me, "They got it from Pizza dot com".

- Will took a crayon and started coloring on my kitchen door the other day. I of course had a fit trying to stop him, then Will pitched a fit. Ral jumped in and tried to mediate. He said, "No, mom. I think he doing that because he wanted to make it look special..."
Yep, it sure looks special now, that's for sure!

- Will is getting to be quite the talker. He is putting 2, 3, and 4 words together now. Some of his common sayings are... more cookie please, more tickle, MOVE IT!, bye-bye Me's house - Pa - Chris.

- If you ask him if he is ready for bed, he'll tell you "Bobble, milk, night-night, crib" Yes, he is still taking a bottle at night.

- Will knows all of the major animals and what they "say"....but if you ask him what GATO says (Gato is the stray cat who hangs our here)he'll tell you, "Move, GATO!!"
This comes from the fact that everytime Mike sees Gato, the dumb cat is usually right under his feet. I think the only thing Mike has ever said to the cat is, "Move, Gato!"

- I put Will in a pair of Buzz Lightyear Pajamas last night. I honestly thought he was going to expload with excitement. He ran around the house for 10 minutes screaming "Buzz Lightyear...to Finny...and Yond!" (Translation: To Infinity...and beyond!"

-Ral is in love with a little girl named Bethany at my school. Im fine with this b/c Bethany's mom is my friend and is also Ral's speech teacher. Bethany even came to Ral's first birthday party :-) Apparently Bethany has made the comment that she wants to marry all the boys in preschool. Ral informs me that Felix and Raleigh are going to marry Bethany. When I ask him what Sophia (his girlfriend from church) will think of this, he says, "It okay. Sophia can still come to my house."
Hmmmm.....I hope Sophia is a stronger woman than I am...no way would I visit my boyfriend who married someone else!

- Ral "wrote" a letter to Bethany yesterday during preschool. When I asked him what it said, he had a different "reading" voice and told me. "Dear Bethany. I love you. Im going to marry you. Thank you, From Raleigh."
Not bad for a love letter, huh?
