Frog

Ral caught a frog the first day of school. He was so excited about it! Ral does not like bugs, frogs, etc. so it took a while for him to finally hold it. We kept if for 2 days and released it.

I found a frog in the garden tonight and put it in their little bug keeper. Raleigh wanted to hold it before bed and Will squeezed it and laughed.

They convinced me to let the frog sleep in their room tonight. Ral just came out and said, "Mom....I think Argentina is thirsty. He feels dry. Oh yeah, I named him Argentina."

On the way home from school Ral told me about a movie he saw during Spanish class about Argentina. I guess it had a bigger impact than I first thought!
Tomorrow I believe we will let Argentina go back to his family.

Bedtime

Every night I put Ral in his bed and Will in his bed. Almost half the mornings when they get up, Will has moved to Raleigh's bed. I finally figured out why tonight. I went in to check on them (A.K.A catch them talking) and found Will and Ral in the same bed. I sent Will back to his own bed and asked him why he moved. He pointed and said, "Bru-der says there monsters under my bed..."

Ral knows how to push his brothers buttons, thats for sure!

Broken leg

Mike broke his leg tonight during football practice. He has one break above the ankle and one break below the knee. He will be having surgery tomorrow. Please keep him in your prayers.

Helping out....

Will just started helping to clean up all of the toys in the living room. He brought it 2 toys, threw them in the bin, and then looked at me and said, "Whew! I need a rest!..."

Yeah..thanks for helping out so much, Will.

Brothers

Ral and Will were up late last night. By the time they finally got in the bed, some neighbors decided to shoot fireworks. Lots and lots of loud fireworks. They came out to the living room a few times and I kept telling them to go back to bed. When I went to my room I noticed their door was open. I found Will and Raleigh sleeping in the same bed. Raleigh was laying on his side with his arm around Will.

I asked Ral about it this morning. He said he was protecting Will because he was scared of monsters. He also told me, "You know what I always say, Mom...Brothers love other Brothers....don't you like my poet?"

LOL...Yes...I love your poeM and the poeT who said it. Ral really is a good big brother.
