Kiss it goodbye

Ral comes running down the hall with one of my protein drinks today (that looks like kool-aid) and says, "What's this, mom?" He was holding it up to me and soooooo excited.

I told him it was one of my protein drinks. I said, "Put it back in the fridge. You might as well kiss it and say goodbye."

I forgot I was speaking to a 4 year old who is very literal.

Of course....Raleigh opens the fridge, kisses the drink, and says goodbye.

He knows the words

Today when we were in the van, we discovered that Ral knows most of the words to CARS. He was saying it before the characters, with the characters, AND after the characters. I was actually impressed with all the lines he knew!!

Guess its time to rotate the movies again.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

One of the girls on a message board I post on asked this question to her children. Ral's response usually has something to do with trains. Today's answer, however, was quite different.

He wants to be a dinosaur shooter.

So...it looks like I can plan on Raleigh staying at home well past the "customary and usual" age AND I need to NOT count on him to support me in my old age!
