Will's outfit

Will was a lion for Halloween. These pics were taken a few days before Halloween. He was more concerned with playing with the "snot bulb" than taking pictures.
On Wednesday I had him roaring like a lion and Ral taught him to say trick or treat on the way to Trunk or Treat. When we got there he only smiled sweetly at people and put up his pumpkin to receive the candy. Not a roar. Not a trick or treat. Nothing.

Oh well, he looked cute!

Ral's halloween

Halloween was kind of a bust. We had big plans both nights but Ral was sick. On Tuesday we went Trick or Treating to a few houses on our street. On Wednesday we went to a Trunk or Treat at a church near my school. The kids racked up there, got free food, and it only took 20 minutes!

Pictures from today!

I bought Ral a spiderman outfit on post-Halloween clearance. He's a cutie in it!

Welcome to the sick house...Part 2

We've been in the sick house for a while..and can't seem to get out of it. Ral was getting better...then had a relapse. Of course, this relapse was the day before Halloween. So much for the plans of hitting the dorms at ASU on 10/30 and going trick or treating with daddy. On Halloween he went to school with me, but didnt go to his preschool. He was so sick. When I asked him if he needed to go to the doc, he said, "Let's go right now." We missed his first preschool party and went to the doc. She thinks its a sinus infection now. So...we are on a 10 day antibiotic with him. We came home and took the antibiotic, ibuprofen, and Mucinex. Washed it down with chocolate milk. Promptly threw up the antibiotic, ibuprofen, Mucinex and chocolate milk. Lovely, eh?? Since then, I can't get Ral to take any red medicine b/c the Mucinex I gave him was red. Every day during medicine time Ral keeps saying to me, "No red, mom. No red."

Will has kept his cough for almost a month now so I hauled him back to the doc yesterday. She thinks all of the "gunk" is in the top of his lungs and suggested mucinex for him too. No red, of course. He does have the beginnings of an ear infection, so he is also on antibiotic #2 now for 5 days. I'm HOPING that this will get us out of the sick house. I stocked up on portable Germ-X yesterday and slathered my boys in it after each stop while in Johnson City. I also sprayed lysol on everything we touch in the house.

Sickness, be gone!
